What to Expect

First, we’ll need to prepare your front teeth to receive the veneers. We’ll do this by removing a thin layer of enamel from the fronts of your teeth.

Next, we’ll take impressions of your teeth to send to the lab. The lab will then use those impressions to create your custom porcelain veneers.

Your dental veneers will be ready when you arrive for your second appointment. Dr. Nichols will ensure that the color, shape, and size of your veneers match the rest of your smile. That way, your front teeth will look and feel natural.

Dr. Nichols will etch the fronts of your receiving teeth. Next, he’ll bond the veneers in place.

In total, the process of getting dental veneers takes two appointments.

How to Take Care of Your Veneers

We recommend practicing good dental hygiene at home to maintain your new veneers. Dr. Nichols recommends brushing your teeth twice a day for two minutes at a time as well as flossing once daily.
